  • Come up with an witty, creative, and runnable set of Eclipse projects that leverage Xtext. It doesn’t matter whether it uses code generation, interpretation or none of them. Creativity will win.
  • The submission has to be published under the EPL.
  • The projects must run with the latest itemis Eclipse distribution at the time of deadline. Additional components such as Zest, GMF, etc. can be used as well. Please provide an easy-to-follow installation instruction if you need anything besides the original distribution.
  • Each person or team may only submit a single entry. You are free to work in teams, but each team can only receive a single prize plus a single T-Shirt if appropriate. To ensure this, we will ask you for your details.
  • Xtext committers as well as their family (including children) must not participate. Their clients and workshop trainees as well as colleagues are encouraged to submit entries, though.
  • Once your project is done, send it to xtext@itemis.com. In general, you are only allowed to submit an entry once without further improvements. We will check if it works and and get back to you in case we experience difficulties.
  • When submitting, please mention full names of each team member, along with your email addresses, URLs and the country/industry you are coming from. If possible, please also provide us with the brief description of the ideas which have been the driving force behind your entry.
